Booking Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 7 October 2026

These terms apply to all coaching sessions, squad sessions and vouchers booked with KD Cricket (ABN 87 619 618 372, 'KD Cricket', 'we'). By booking, you agree to them. If the player is under 18, the parent or guardian makes the booking, agrees to these terms for the player, and is responsible for payment. Winter development teams (such as RUNS XI) and other programs may have additional terms, which we will give you when you sign up.

1. Bookings and payment

  • A session is confirmed when we confirm the date, time and venue by message or email.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars and are listed at kdcricket.com. The price at the time of booking applies.
  • Payment is by bank transfer or cash, on or before the session. We will give you bank details and a payment reference when we confirm your booking.
  • We may decline further bookings until any unpaid sessions are paid.

2. Cancellations, rescheduling and no-shows

  • Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule, by text or email. With that notice there is no charge.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, we may charge any venue hire cost we can't recover.
  • If the player doesn't attend and we haven't been told, we may charge the full session fee.
  • We use discretion for illness and emergencies.
  • If we need to cancel (for example illness, weather or a venue closure), we will offer a new time at no cost, or refund anything you have already paid.

3. Weather and venues

Outdoor sessions may be affected by rain, heat or poor light. If so, we will offer a new time or an indoor alternative. The indoor rate applies only if you agree to the indoor option.

4. Squad (group) sessions

Squad sessions run with a minimum of four confirmed players. If fewer are confirmed, we may reschedule or cancel the session and refund anything you have paid.

5. Health, safety and conduct

  • Before the first session, please tell us about any injury, medical condition or allergy that could affect participation, and keep us updated.
  • Players need suitable protective equipment for the activity (for batting and keeping this means a helmet, pads, gloves and a thigh guard). We may stop a player taking part in an activity if the equipment is unsafe.
  • For players under 18, a parent or guardian (or another adult you name) must be contactable throughout the session, and must drop off and collect the player on time.
  • Cricket carries a risk of injury. We take reasonable care, hold a current Working With Children Check and hold business insurance. Players take part at their own risk to the extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that can't be excluded.
  • We may pause or end a session if behaviour or safety requires it.

6. Filming

Sessions may be filmed for coaching analysis. Footage forms part of the player's development record and is not shared publicly, including on our website or social media, without your permission. You can ask us to stop filming, or to delete footage, at any time.

7. Privacy

We collect only what we need to run bookings and coaching: names, ages, contact details, relevant health information and session records. We use it to manage bookings, deliver coaching and, if we have discussed it with you, to follow up about further sessions. If you don't want follow-up messages, tell us and we will stop. We don't sell your details. We share them only where needed to deliver the service (for example our email and booking tools) or where the law requires. To see, correct or delete your details, email koby@kdcricket.com.

8. Phoenix Beeliar JCC voucher sessions

  • The voucher offer is made by KD Cricket as part of its sponsorship of Phoenix Beeliar JCC. Sessions are provided by KD Cricket, not by the club.
  • Each player registered with Phoenix Beeliar JCC for 2026/27 may book one 45-minute 1-on-1 session for $20. We may ask for the player's team to check eligibility. One voucher per player.
  • Voucher sessions can be outdoor or indoor and must be used by 31 March 2027. Vouchers have no cash value, can't be transferred, and can't be combined with other offers.
  • Payment of $20 is by bank transfer or cash on or before the session.
  • To rebook, give at least 24 hours' notice. If the player doesn't attend and we haven't been told, the voucher is used up.

9. Changes to these terms and prices

We may update these terms and our prices. Changes apply to bookings made after the update. For regular clients, we will give at least 30 days' written notice before a price change takes effect.

10. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. If something goes wrong, contact us first at koby@kdcricket.com or 0421 869 980 and we will try to sort it out.
